Fly the rail and shoot the gray asteroids — every one hides a crystal, and you can't know which until it breaks. Each crystal adds time; chain quick kills for a combo. The flaming rocks cannot be mined: don't shoot them, DODGE them. Anything you fail to break reaches you, and a hit costs seconds.
